Aug. 14:  T-shirt orders are due NLT Sept. 2.  Reminder that all transportation changes MUST go through the front office in writing.

Aug. 8:  If you have not already done so, please apply for free/reduced lunch.  Our Title 1 funding is tied to this and it is extremely important to get those applications in!  Also, please make sure to get in the rest of your BOY paperwork ASAP.

August 2:  The free lunch grant has expired; everyone needs to apply for free/reduced lunch status.  This is vitally important for our Title 1 status, so please apply today!

August 2:  Dates will be posted to the calendar as they become available to me.  5th grade Meet and Greet and Supply Drop Off will take place on Friday, August 5.  Last names A-L please plan to attend 12-12:45 p.m.  Last names M-Z please plan to attend 1-1:45 p.m.  You do not need to plan to stay the entire 45 minutes; this is just drop off supplies, get a few things settled, and pick up yearly paperwork.  See you soon!   If you have a younger child that is doing an earlier meet and greet at HNIS and you want to come in then, please email me and let me know; I'm happy to save you some time.  First day is August 10.

About me:  I am entering my seventh year of 5th grade at HNIS.  My husband of 24 years is retired from the Air Force and we loved Navarre so much we made it our home.  I am mom to three-two teenage daughters (sophomore at the University of Florida and junior at NHS) and a son at HNMS in 7th grade.  I have a gluttonous chocolate lab named Belle and a labradoodle pup named Tink.  I love all things Baltimore Orioles and Washington Redskins.  I look forward to working with you as a partner in your child's education.  It takes parent, teacher, and child all working together as a team to make this challenging year a success.
